About Rogues Rituals

Rogues Rituals is deeply connected to both my family history and my lifelong interests.

I was raised around hardworking market traders. My dad ran market stalls, as did his parents along side him, so from a young age I saw the dedication, resilience, and community spirit that comes with building something of your own.

My grandmother was Romany Gypsy, although she sadly passed away before I was born. While I never had the opportunity to experience that culture through her directly, I’ve spent many years researching my family heritage and learning about the traditions and stories that have always felt close to my heart.

My grandparents worked at Billy Manning’s Southsea Fair,  my grandad on the gallopers and Speedways. Their stories and entrepreneurial spirit have remained a source of inspiration throughout my life.

2. Discovering My Path

I’ve been fascinated by spirituality, folklore, and all things witchy for as long as I can remember. I began reading Tarot at sixteen years old and spent years reading for friends, online clients, and at events.

For a long time, spirituality was something I loved personally, after attending a women’s moon circle hosted by Temple of Venus. During the event, we created manifestation paintings, and I painted my artsy version of a traditional wagon inspired by my family’s heritage and my dream of one day living a slower, more nomadic lifestyle.

The following day, I unexpectedly saw an old wagon that looked almost identical to the one I had painted. It felt like more than coincidence.

That evening, while enjoying a spell bath gifted by the event organiser, I found myself reflecting on my future and wishing for a career that truly fulfilled me. At the time, I felt stuck and knew I needed a new direction.

As I sat setting my intentions, ideas began flowing.

Tarot readings. Crystals. Candles. Divination tools. Spiritual supplies.

For the first time, I realised I could build a business around something I genuinely loved and was good at.

Within a matter of days, I had mapped out the foundations of Rogues Rituals. What began as a single idea quickly developed into a vision for a business that would combine spirituality, creativity, community, and meaningful products.

Looking back, I truly believe everything happened for a reason. New friendships, unexpected opportunities, and a series of events that almost never happened led me exactly where I needed to be.

Without those moments, Rogues Rituals may never have existed.

Since launching Rogues Rituals, I’ve been overwhelmed by the support from friends, customers, fellow small businesses, and the local community.

From market opportunities and community events to being featured by Portsmouth News before officially launching, every milestone has reinforced the feeling that I am on the right path.

Rogues Rituals is more than just a business. It is a reflection of my heritage, my spirituality, my creativity, and my belief that sometimes life guides us exactly where we’re meant to be.
